HILDA PICKERING, BVI Group Financial Controller

 

Hilda has twenty years experiencing in the lead accounting function in the British Virgin Islands.  Hilda has led the Blenheim accounting team since 1988 and has been instrumental in developing accounting systems and programmes and input into policies and procedures and the industry licence fee system.

 

Hilda is a devout member of her Church through which she assists in the provision of community services.  She is also a keen gardener providing bouquets of roses and cut flowers to brighten the office.

 

7% of the BVI population is Seventh day Adventist who exhibit a high level of church giving.  You will be very welcome into any church in the BVI.  The parishioners dress finely, with ladies sporting big colourful hats and a feature is live music and a boisterous choir. 

   

Graduates of the Seventh Day Adventist School celebrate with students and parents. 

  

The SDA church also promotes the children’s Pathfinder, vegetarian soup kitchen and other community programmes.
